They may be used alone or in any combination.
There are details below of six of our basic branding options.

  | Etching Photo-chemical etching is the most expensive of our branding options but is also the most versatile.   It can be used to produce a cut-in or raised image in most metals.   It can be "blind" colour filled or etched through.   It is capable of reproducing the finest detail over the whole branded surface.   Tooling is fast and inexpensive. |

  | Embossing Tooling costs are higher than for etching but unit costs considerably lower.   Embossing is suitable for high volume budget-conscious projects.   There is a limit to the detail which can be reproduced; the thinner the metal the better.   We are not able to offer embossing in stainless steel. |

  | Screen printing When colour and cost are important we recommend screen printing.   We can offer single or multi colour line printing or full four colour process with specials up to 100 lpi screen definition. |

  | Laser marking High speed YAG lasers can be used to mark a wide variety of metals and plastics.  The process is particularily suitable for use when generic and personalised information are to be combined on a single product. |

  | Stamping We have recently developed a tooling method which enables us to offer a similar low cost option to that of embossing whilst retaining the detail of etching or laser marking.   This is suitable only at present on aluminium. |

  | Other options For very high volume multi colour work we recommend Litho Printing and for short run high resolution applications Dye Sublimation.   Transfer or pad printing is used for printing on curved or uneven surfaces. |
